Enhanced Viewing Experience
To enhance the experience for all, the Committee, in collaboration with the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs, will set up viewing areas equipped with six screens and food services. This initiative aims to provide workers the opportunity to enjoy the celebrations safely while minimizing congestion in the city.
Collaborative Security Efforts
Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Chairman of the Events Security Committee, emphasized the collaborative effort of all 55 entities to ensure maximum security. He urged the public to cooperate with the police, adhere to traffic instructions, and reach out to Dubai Police in case of emergencies.
Extensive Police Deployment
In preparation for the grand event, Dubai Police will deploy nearly 12,000 personnel, including 5,574 police officers, and 1,525 patrols, civil defense, and ambulance vehicles across Dubai and Hatta. Roads around popular locations will start closing from 4 pm onwards, with Sheikh Zayed Road closing from 9 pm. The Roads and Transport Authority announced extended Dubai Metro hours and the deployment of 230 buses to facilitate transportation.
Municipality’s Key Role
Dubai Municipality will play a crucial role, deploying 2,700 executive and field teams across celebration sites. Special attention will be given to key locations, including Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Hills, Festival City, City Walk, Burj Al Arab, and more. Over 300 waste storage facilities will be provided in crowded locations to maintain cleanliness.
