Vikrant Massey Is Here to Slay (Again!)
with Netflix Thriller ‘Sector 36’
Netflix just unleashed the trailer for their latest crime thriller Sector 36, and it’s a heart-pounding rollercoaster of mystery, murder, and mayhem. Produced by the powerhouse team of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios, this film dives deep into a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game between a relentless cop and a twisted killer. And with Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal headlining, you know it’s going to be a performance masterclass.
Well, the story revolves around Inspector Ram Charan Pandey (played by the ever-versatile Deepak Dobriyal), a family man who finds himself tangled in a dangerous chase when children start disappearing from an area in Sector 36. As if being a father to a young daughter isn’t pressure enough, he’s now hunting down a menacing serial killer named Prem Singh – played by none other than Vikrant Massey – who’s hiding in plain sight. Cue the intense thrills and nail-biting moments because this chase is about to get seriously wild.
Vikrant Massey on Playing a Dark, Layered Character
Talking about stepping into the shoes of Prem Singh, Vikrant Massey dished, “Stepping into the character of Prem for this film was unlike anything I’ve done before. To convincingly play a layered and terrifying killer who could pass off as any other person has been difficult.” Well, if anyone can make a cold-blooded serial killer look this chilling yet intriguing, it’s Vikrant. And, of course, shoutout to dire
If this trailer is anything to go by, Sector 36 is going to be one of those “drop everything and watch” kinda films. And with its release set for September 13 exclusively on Netflix, we’re already counting down the days.
