After setting it on fire with “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” he’s ready to enthrall fans with his next big project, “Sarfira.” And guess what? Adding to the buzz, the makers have also announced the trailer release date for “Sarfira.” Get ready because it’s dropping on June 18, with the movie hitting theaters on July 12.
Akshay shared the electrifying poster on Instagram, captioning it, “The story of a man who dared to dream big! And this looks is a story, a character, a film, an opportunity of a lifetime!” The film is set in the thrilling world of start-ups and aviation, promising a blend of high-flying drama and inspiration.
According to the filmmakers, “Sarfira” aims to entertain and inspire, encouraging every common man to dream big and chase those seemingly impossible goals. Alongside Akshay, the film features the powerhouse talents of Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan, and Seema Biswas.
“Sarfira” is the Hindi remake of Suriya’s critically acclaimed “Soorarai Pottru,” itself based on G. R. Gopinath’s memoir, “Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.” The script comes from the dynamic duo Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues penned by Pooja Tolani. Directed by the National Award-winning Sudha Kongara, it’s a GV Prakash Kumar musical produced by Aruna Bhatia, South superstars Suriya and Jyotika, and Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment.
