Two fresh Gen-Z faces are about to blow up your screens! Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are diving headfirst into stardom with Saiyaara, and by the looks of the trailer, they’re not here to play. They’re here to sing, sob, slay and serve us a love story that’ll leave your playlists, and maybe your heart, in shambles.
Meet Krish & Vaani: Saiyaara Trailer Out Now!
In Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday steps into the spotlight as Krish Kapoor, a brooding, passion-fueled singer who’s married to his music and obsessed with his dream. Enter Vaani (played by the soft and soulful Aneet Padda), a girl who writes her way through life with poetry and pain. The trailer teases a romance that’s equal parts swoon and storm because love + lyrics = drama we’re so here for.

Mohit Suri’s Comeback To What He Does Best: Heartbreak & Hits
Mohit Suri is back with his signature romantic chaos, and this time, he’s traded seasoned stars for two newcomers with serious spark.
He says, “I wouldn’t have made Saiyaara if I hadn’t found formidable actors like Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. I was honestly thinking about making something else before my path crossed with Yash Raj Films, which was looking for a young love story and was grooming Ahaan and Aneet to star in such a film.”
Mohit adds, “When you make a love story with debutants, they have to be convincing as actors to pull off the emotional layers and depths that make the love story feel believable for people. No one expects newcomers to have Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s level of acting. But they need to be actors who hold their own on screen. I didn’t come across debutants with acting calibre. I didn’t find the vulnerability in the young crop. And I had given up on the idea of making this script with debutants.”
He continued, “I had pivoted it to have faces that sell from a commerce point of view. Somehow, the writing process of Saiyaara took time and I met YRF. Then I saw the auditions of Ahaan and Aneet and decided to spend time with them to get convinced about their acting, intellectual and emotional depth. I was blown away that here are two absolutely fresh new actors who have it in them to act, to surrender to a vision! It’s a rarity today honestly and it’s so refreshing to make a love story with newcomers! I’m glad I found these two because I’m making this story as it was meant to be made.”
Vintage YRF Vibes Meet Modern-Day Feels
With Saiyaara, YRF sticks to what it does best – epic love stories – but this one has a Gen-Z twist. The romance is messy, the passion is wild, and the heartbreak is oh-so-beautiful. Add Mohit Suri’s cinematic heartbreak touch, and you’ve got a love story that’s just chaotic enough to be real.
YRF CEO, Akshaye Widhani, producer of Saiyaara, says, “At YRF, we have a legacy of making love stories that have connected and stayed in people’s hearts for a long, long time. So, this collaboration with Mohit Suri, who loves this genre as much as we do, was always meant to happen. We were looking to tell a real love story that connects to today’s youth by showing how deep and true their feelings, emotions and commitments are. We are thrilled to have found Saiyaara.”
He adds, “It is a love story that is inherently YRF. But it has all the tropes of the vintage Mohit Suri romance that everyone has loved for over 20 years! An intense love story with debutants has not been made in a long, long time. And we are hoping our audience finds that extremely refreshing.”
The Soundtrack That’s Already Owning Charts
From Arijit Singh’s soul-melting ballads to Sachet-Parampara’s emotional punches, Saiyaara is serving a soundtrack that might just ruin you in the best way possible. Faheem-Arslan’s title track is already being dubbed the heartbreak anthem of the year. Stream it now, cry later.
Ahaan Panday (aka YRF’s next big bet) and Aneet Padda (who already wowed in Big Girls Don’t Cry) are stepping into the Bollywood ring swinging. Their chemistry? Off the charts. Their screen presence? Unmissable. Their potential? Through the roof.
Saiyaara hits theatres on July 18, 2025, and honestly, we’ve already planned our outfit, playlist, and tissues. Ahaan and Aneet are ready to make us fall in love, cry our hearts out, and replay the trailer 800 times until the premiere.
