Saira Banu Breaks Her Silence on Divorce With AR Rahman!
In a world where celebrity gossip spreads faster than a chart-topping hit, Saira Banu has decided to take control of the narrative. Addressing the buzz surrounding her relationship with the legendary composer, she dropped a voice note that cleared the air in the best way possible.
She said, “Asalam Alaikum, this is Saira Rahman here, I wish him a speedy recovery. I just got the news that he got chest pain and an angio was performed on him. With the blessings of the Almighty, he is doing fine now, and there’s nothing to be worried about.”
Saira made it crystal clear that, despite their separation, they are NOT divorced. She’s still Mrs. Rahman! She stated, “I also wanted to tell everyone that we are not officially divorced, we are still husband and wife. It’s just that we are separated because of my health issues. So, to all those calling her the ‘ex,’ she has one request – cut it out!
She further added, “Since the last two years, I havent been doing well, and I didn’t want to stress him out. But please, I would request the media to not call me ‘ex-wife’ as we are only separated, but all my good wishes are still with him. I also want to tell everyone, especially his family that do not give him any kind of stress and to take care of him. Thank you,”
Saira Banu still loves AR Rahman?
For those who need a refresher, Rahman and Saira tied the knot in 1995 and share three children – Khatija, Raheema, and Ameen. Last year, the couple announced their separation after nearly three decades of marriage, citing emotional strain. But while their love story may have hit a pause, Saira insists that she’s still got his back. “After many years of marriage, Saira and her husband, A.R. Rahman, have made the difficult decision to separate from each other. This decision comes after significant emotional strain in their relationship,” she added, urging his family to ensure he doesn’t face any stress.
