Post a scary knife attack at his Mumbai home earlier this year, the actor has found comfort, calm, and couture-level luxury in Qatar. Honestly, who wouldn’t want a vacation home where peace, privacy, and pretty views are part of the welcome package?
Speaking like a man who’s found his happy place, Saif revealed: “Think of a holiday home or a second home. There are a few things I think of. One is that it’s not very far away and it’s easily accessible. And then the other thing is , the most important thing is that it’s very safe and it feels very good to be there.”

Between drool-worthy menus, island-within-an-island aesthetics, and many other luxuries. He continued, “The concept of an island within an island is also very luxurious and beautiful, and it’s just a really lovely place to live. And the feeling you get when you’re there is the important thing, and the views, and the food, and the kind of lifestyle, and the pace of living, and these are a few of the things that led to my decision.”
It’s not just a second home, it’s a full-blown mood – where every corner is curated, every meal is magic, and the whole place just feels right. He expressed, “I had gone there to do some work, and I was shooting for something, and I stayed at the property, and I thought it was amazing, and there was something about the mixture of privacy and luxury that I really liked. And again, it was things like food and the way the menu was curated and various things like this. I mean, literally in a nutshell, it felt like home away from home, so that made it very easy.”
A Royal Nest for The Pataudi Family
This getaway isn’t just for Saif to sip mocktails and stare at the sunset. He’s bringing the whole fam-jam along. Kareena, Taimur, Jeh – all set to turn that plush island hideaway into their new royal retreat.
From Sunday brunches with a view to poolside playdates with the little princes, it’s gonna be a whole mood. We’re just here, living vicariously through the Instagram posts we hope they’ll bless us with. He added,“The main thing really is that it’s peaceful and secluded if that’s the kind of thing you are looking for.”
