Traveling around Dubai’s Business Bay area is about to get easier with the introduction of direct bus routes from the Business Bay metro station. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out this initiative to make commuting more convenient for everyone.
Where Can You Go?
Now, commuters departing from Business Bay can hop on direct buses heading to various metro stations across the city. These buses will take you straight to:
- OnPassive station
- Mall of the Emirates, Equiti, and Mashreq stations

Getting Back on Track
After temporary closures due to heavy rains, four Dubai Metro stations are set to resume normal operations by May 28. These stations include OnPassive, Equity, Mashreq, and Energy Metro. With services returning to normal, commuters can expect smoother journeys ahead.
Safety First
To ensure passenger safety, Roads and Transport Authority has implemented crowd management protocols at Dubai Metro stations, especially during peak hours. These measures aim to enhance station efficiency and streamline the flow of passengers.
RTA: Convenient On-Demand Service
Responding to the growing demand for transportation services in Business Bay, Roads and Transport Authority has expanded its ‘Bus on Demand’ service to the area. This service operates through the ‘Dubai Bus On Demand‘ app, offering personalized transportation solutions for residents and commuters.
With these new initiatives, Roads and Transport Authority is committed to improving Dubai’s public transportation system and providing commuters with reliable and convenient travel options.
