RTA: New Bus Route to Al Mamzar Beach Introduced in Dubai

Navigating Dubai's Transportation Network with Ease

Dubai’s RTA has some good news for beach lovers and commuters alike! They’re introducing a new bus route, called W20, starting this Friday, February 9. This route will run over the weekends, from Friday to Sunday, between 5 pm and 11 pm. With buses coming every half-hour, it’s now much simpler to travel between Stadium Metro Station and Al Mamzar Beach.

Improvements to Existing Bus Routes

The RTA isn’t stopping there. They’re also making changes to existing bus routes to make commuting smoother for everyone. First off, they’re renaming Route 11B to Route 11, aiming to make it easier for passengers to remember and navigate. Routes 16A and 16B are also getting rerouted and rebranded as Routes 16 and 25 respectively, with Route 16 now going from Al Rashdiya Bus Station to Al Awir, and Route 25 from Gold Souq Bus Station to Al Rashdiya.

Enhancements Across the Board

But wait, there’s more! The RTA is extending Bus Route F62 to cover Dubai Festival City and the Al Garhoud neighborhood, while Route C04 will now reach the Mohammed bin Rashid Library. Plus, Routes 103 and 106 will provide direct, non-stop services from main stations to the popular Global Village.

Changes in Bus Routes for Better Journeys, Faster Travel

In addition to these changes, Route E303 will now pass through Al Ittihad Street to Sharjah, while routes 16A, 16B, and 64A will be discontinued. And to top it off, the RTA’s Public Transport Agency is working on improving journey times for 13 bus routes, including routes 5, 7, 62, 81, 110, C04, C09, E306, E307A, F12, F15, F26, and SH1, ensuring faster travel for passengers.

These upgrades show the RTA’s dedication to providing efficient and comfortable public transportation for everyone in Dubai. With these changes, commuters can look forward to easier and quicker journeys, whether they’re heading to the beach or any other destination across the emirate.
