In an era where social media doesn’t miss anything and fans are basically unofficial paparazzi with HD cameras, privacy is now a myth – especially for celebs. The latest victim? Shraddha Kapoor. The Stree star was recently spotted flying with her rumoured beau, Rahul Mody, when a cabin crew member decided to go full detective mode without consent. But Raveena Tandon came in guns blazing and called out the invasion of celeb privacy. She said what needed to be said.
Raveena Tandon takes a Stand for Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor and her alleged lover Rahul Mody were just trying to enjoy a chill flight moment, probably just minding their own business, sharing earphones or a pack of peanuts, when a cabin crew member thought, “Hey, let’s go viral today!” Instead of offering coffee or snacks, she pulled out her phone and sneakily filmed the duo using her front camera. Ma’am, not cool.
The video (yes, it went viral in milliseconds) shows the couple sitting close together, while the crew member low-key records them. Fans also spotted Shraddha’s phone wallpaper, which allegedly features Rahul. Cute? Yes. Okay to share without permission? Absolutely not.
Raveena Tandon took to Instagram and slammed the whole incident, saying, “This is a breach of privacy. The crew should know better than to do this. Consent must be taken. Not expected from crew members to do this (sic).” She didn’t mince words and made it crystal clear that crew members, of all people, should know better. Celebs are humans too, and they deserve personal space without being turned into Insta content every time they blink.

Shraddha & Rahul: Still a “Not-So-Secret” Secret
Shraddha’s love life has been low-key goals, and though she hasn’t officially confirmed anything, the hints have been there. From cosy outings to loved-up quotes in interviews, she recently told Cosmopolitan, “I love spending time with my partner… even if it’s doing nothing.” Ma’am, we get the hint, and we’re rooting for it.
For the uninitiated, Rahul Mody is the man behind the pen and possibly behind Shraddha’s smile. He’s a screenwriter with Luv Ranjan’s production house and co-wrote Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, where sparks reportedly flew between him and Shraddha. He’s also given us Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. He knows a thing or two about complicated relationships.
Let’s get one thing straight, just because someone is famous doesn’t mean their personal life is up for grabs. A flight is not a film set, and recording people without consent, especially in a professional setting, is just plain shady.
