Looks like Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, just went from motivational to scandalous. Known for his deep, philosophical takes, this time, he went a little too deep – and not in a good way!
The influencer and podcaster has landed in major trouble after dropping what many are calling one of the most inappropriate jokes of the year on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. What was meant to be a “wild” question turned into an absolute PR nightmare.
Here’s what went wrong with Ranveer Allahbadia
Allahbadia, in a moment of what he probably thought was “edgy humor,” asked a contestant: Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?
While his fellow panellists, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija, laughed it off, the internet was NOT having it. Social media erupted, and soon, FIRs started raining down!
"India’s Got Latent" truly lived up to its name – unearthing the latent traits of personalities. ?

Mumbai Police Takes Action – FIRs Pile Up!
Just when Ranveer probably thought things couldn’t get worse, a team of five police officers showed up at his Versova residence, ready to question him over the uproar. The legal trouble doesn’t stop there – complaints against him have been registered in Mumbai and Guwahati. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma himself confirmed that action was being taken.
As if police trouble wasn’t enough, now the big guns might step in! Reports suggest that the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology is considering summoning Allahbadia. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has even pushed for an official inquiry into the matter. If this goes through, BeerBiceps might soon be explaining himself not to his fans, but to government officials.
AICWA Calls for a BAN on India’s Got Latent!
Enter the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA), and they’re not in the mood for jokes. They’ve officially called for a complete boycott of India’s Got Latent, asking Bollywood to sever all ties with Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and the rest of the show’s team.
Their official statement reads: “The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) vehemently condemns the reprehensible and offensive remarks made on the YouTube show India’s Got Latent, hosted by Samay Raina. In a recent episode, Ranveer Allahbadia, who participated in the show, unleashed abhorrent and vile statements that are deeply disrespectful to our societal and family values. Such disgraceful content is utterly unacceptable and poses a significant threat to the moral fabric of our society.”
“Representing the entire Indian film industry, AICWA officially boycotts India’s Got Latent. We call upon all actors, filmmakers, directors, and technicians to immediately cease any collaboration with individuals involved in this show, including host Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. Henceforth, these individuals will receive no support from the Indian film industry,” the body added.
Ranveer’s Response
After what seemed like an eternity of radio silence, Ranveer has finally apologized for his comment. However, co-panelist Apoorva Mukhija has yet to react to the controversy. Meanwhile, the internet remains divided – some are defending him, while others think this should be a lesson on what not to joke about.
With legal troubles mounting, a potential ban on India’s Got Latent, and calls for a social boycott, Ranveer Allahbadia’s “motivational” persona has taken a serious hit. Will he bounce back, or is this controversy the final nail in the coffin for his clean image? Only time (and the courts) will tell!
