Quoz Arts Fest 2025 Returns with Art, Music, and Culture

Quoz Arts Fest 2025, Dubai’s cultural celebration, is back this January 25 and 26 at Alserkal Avenue. Now in its 12th year, the festival promises a vibrant weekend of creativity, showcasing local and international talent through art, music, workshops, and more. From interactive installations to live performances, this family-friendly event brings something for everyone.

Exciting Live Music Performances

Music lovers will be delighted by a diverse lineup of artists taking the stage. Headlining the event is Syrian rapper and poet Omar Offendum, whose powerful work explores identity and immigration. Tunisian singer-songwriter Emel Mathlouthi will captivate with her fusion of traditional Arabic and modern music.

Other performances include the soulful melodies of minimalist folk duo Ÿuma, Pakistan’s genre-bending Musaafir Music collective, and the electrifying beats of House of Yanos, known for their Afro Tech and Amapiano vibes. Dubai City Sound’s all-female choir and DJ Hend’s eclectic mix of Afrobeats, R&B, and Amapiano will keep the energy alive throughout the weekend.

Immersive Art Installations

Quoz Arts Fest is renowned for its cutting-edge art installations, and this year is no exception. Visitors can explore “Forest Dancer and the Path to Pure Creation” by Australian collective ENESS, an experience blending light, sound, and motion. Emirati artist Lamya Gargash presents “A Corridor of Books,” a large-scale installation inspired by the private library of a UAE collector, reflecting on memory and identity.

Wander through Alserkal Avenue to discover public artworks, including “Bright Memories” by Abdulla Alneyadi and a surprise installation by Brazilian artist Zé Tepedino. Galleries like Ishara Art Foundation and Lawrie Shabibi will also host exhibitions featuring prominent artists and group shows.

Family-Friendly Activities and Workshops

They designed the festival for all ages, with a dedicated Kids’ Lane offering interactive art workshops, storytelling sessions, and creative community activations. Groups like Artful Minds and The Junction will host activities aimed at engaging young minds in the arts.

Pets are welcome, making this event perfect for the whole family. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, there’s something here for everyone.

Flavourful treats

No cultural event is complete without great food. “What The Food by Alserkal” will showcase top chefs, food entrepreneurs, and artisanal producers offering everything from street food to vegan options and delectable desserts. It’s a feast for the senses that pairs perfectly with the festival’s creative atmosphere.
