Primark Is Coming to Dubai: Here’s What You Need to Know

Primark, the global budget fashion and lifestyle brand, is making its way to Dubai. Known for its affordable prices and extensive range of products, the brand will open three stores in the emirate in the first quarter of 2026. Shoppers can look forward to visiting Primark outlets at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and City Centre Mirdif.

The move comes as part of a partnership between Primark and the Alshaya Group, one of the Middle East’s leading retail franchise operators. The announcement was made by Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden during an interview on Virgin Radio Dubai’s Kris Fade Show.

Three Stores, One Mission: Affordable Fashion

According to John Hadden, Dubai will be home to not just one but three Primark stores by early next year. The stores will be located in the city’s top retail destinations:

  • Dubai Mall
  • Mall of the Emirates
  • City Centre Mirdif

The first Primark in the region will open in Kuwait’s The Avenues Mall by the end of 2025, followed closely by the Dubai outlets. The partnership between Primark and Alshaya Group marks a significant expansion for the brand in the Middle East.

Prices You Can Count On

One of Primark’s biggest draws worldwide is its unbeatable pricing, and Dubai’s stores will be no exception. Hadden reassured potential customers that prices will remain consistent with those found in the UK and Ireland.

For instance:

  • Basic T-shirts: Starting from AED 15
  • Jeans: Starting from AED 50

Hadden expressed his enthusiasm about the brand’s arrival in Dubai, emphasizing that maintaining Primark’s value-driven approach is a top priority.

A Global Retail Phenomenon

Primark, originally launched as Penny’s in Dublin, Ireland, has grown significantly since its inception 55 years ago. The brand now operates over 450 stores across 15 countries, including 16 outlets in the United States. Known for offering everything from clothing and accessories to home decor and cosmetics, Primark has become a staple for budget-conscious shoppers.

The brand’s expansion into Dubai is seen as a strategic move to cater to the city’s diverse and fashion-forward demographic. With Dubai’s position as a major retail hub in the Middle East, Primark’s arrival is expected to be met with considerable excitement.

What to Expect at Primark Dubai

Dubai’s new Primark stores will offer the same wide range of products that the brand is famous for, including:

  • Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s Apparel
  • Home Furnishings and Decor
  • Beauty and Skincare Products
  • Accessories and Footwear

The stores will also feature seasonal collections and special promotions, staying true to Primark’s fast-fashion ethos. Customers can expect to see the latest trends at wallet-friendly prices, making it a go-to destination for affordable shopping.

Why Primark’s Arrival Matters

With Dubai being home to numerous high-end fashion retailers, the arrival of a budget-friendly giant like Primark marks a refreshing change. The brand’s presence will add diversity to the city’s retail landscape, appealing to both residents and tourists looking for affordable yet stylish options.

Furthermore, the decision to open three stores simultaneously reflects confidence in Dubai’s retail sector and consumer demand for value-oriented shopping experiences.

Primark’s entry into Dubai is poised to reshape the city’s fashion scene by offering quality products at affordable prices. With the first stores set to open in early 2026, shoppers can look forward to exploring Primark’s extensive collections without breaking the bank.
