Aamir Khan Reveals PK 2 Is NOT Landing Anytime Soon
For everyone who was ready to welcome Aamir Khan back as our favourite button-nosed alien, take a deep breath and step back.
In a fresh and very honest statement, Aamir basically said, “No, PK 2 is not happening. I don’t know where this news came from, but it is not happening. Raju and I are instead doing a different film. It is a biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke, which starts later this year.” Just like that, the PK-verse shrank back into fiction.
Aamir and Raju are taking a deep dive into history with a biopic on none other than Dadasaheb Phalke, the OG of Indian cinema. The man who basically invented Bollywood before it was cool is getting the spotlight, and Aamir’s taking the reins.

Let’s not forget, when these two come together, cinema magic happens. Whether it’s 3 Idiots or PK, they know how to serve blockbusters with brains. So, while PK 2 is off the table, a biopic on the father of Indian film is set to come soon!

before we all start mourning, let’s not forget Aamir’s got Sitare Zameen Par hitting the big screen on June 20, 2025. A sequel to the iconic Taare Zameen Par, this one’s got comedy, sports, emotions, and a whole lot of heart.
Teaming up with Genelia Deshmukh and ten incredibly talented specially-abled stars, Aamir’s bringing us a feel-good ride that’ll make you laugh, cry, and cheer. Directed by R.S. Prasanna and backed by music maestro trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics from Amitabh Bhattacharya, this film is a must-watch drama of the year.
