Passport Control Counters Launches At Terminal 1 And 2 Of Dubai International Airport
The newly launched passport counters at Dubai International Airport will make the travel process simple for kids and their parents as well. Parents will also be able to get their passports stamped at the newly launched counters. The counters were launched on January 28th, Wednesday and the first children to use the counters were welcomed by Lt Gen Mohammed Al Marri, director-general of GDRFA Dubai, who visited the airport with his team.
Passport control counters at Dubai International Airport aim to create a lasting impression on child travellers by letting them experience the stamping process and encouraging cultural ties. When the service was first launched during Eid Al Fitr in April, a whopping 10,423 children used the counters, and this number encouraged the employees to launch the service to other terminals.
