It’s not about film set gossip or a celeb breakup, but it’s something that could have Bollywood beauty Huma Qureshi going through an emotional storm right now.
Man murdered over scooter parking; victim related to Huma Qureshi
In Delhi’s Nizamuddin, what started as a simple “Hey, can you move your scooter?” turned into a horrifying tragedy. Asif Qureshi – Huma Qureshi’s cousin and a 42-year-old businessman, was just outside his home when the unthinkable happened.
A neighbour had parked his scooter blocking Asif’s entrance. Asif asked him to shift it (in the most logical way possible), but instead of a “Sure, no problem,” he got attitude. The neighbour stormed off, dropped some threats, and minutes later returned with backup, his brother.
The two men allegedly came armed and went straight for Asif. Within moments, a normal Thursday night turned into chaos. Asif’s wife, Shaheen, ran to get help, but the injuries were far too severe. By the time they reached the hospital, doctors could only declare him gone.

According to Shaheen, this wasn’t the first time these guys had created trouble. She hinted at past attempts to harm her husband. Asif’s uncle, and Huma’s father, Saleem Qureshi, also spoke out, saying his nephew was just trying to keep the house entrance clear. Nobody could have imagined it would end like this.
Delhi Police have already nabbed the two accused, but the wound this has left on the family (and frankly, the community) is deep. A man is gone over something as ridiculous as parking space.
If arguments over where you park your scooter can lead to this level of violence, what does that say about how fragile tempers have become? Delhi’s streets are now buzzing with this story and sadly, it’s not one anyone wanted to hear.
