After 18 years, Hera Pheri 3 is officially happening. Paresh Rawal himself confirmed the big news – cameras for the iconic comedy will start rolling early next year.
The Shoot Dates Are Locked for Hera Pheri 3
According to Paresh, the madness kicks off in February or March 2026. The team is ironing out the last-minute prep, but the trio – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal – are more than ready to step back into their iconic chaos. Fans can already hear “Utha le re baba!” echoing in their heads.
Let’s be real, Paresh Rawal had stirred the pot big time when he hinted at quitting the film. But in June, the actor confirmed that all is well, the wounds are healed, and the trio is back together with Priyadarshan steering the ship. In his own words, “Ghaav bhar gaya hai (the wound has healed). Our relationship is very transparent,” he explained.
Paresh also admitted once upon a time that he was tired of playing Baburao and even flirted with the idea of a spin-off. But in true Baburao wisdom, he realised the obvious: “A film is a collaborative effort. I don’t think Baburao can exist on his own. You’ll need Shyam and Raju too,” So nope, no solo ride for Babu Bhaiya – this cult classic needs the full package.
What’s next for Paresh?
Apart from Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal has wrapped up shooting for Priyadarshan’s comeback film Bhoot Bangla with Akshay Kumar again. Clearly, 2026 is about to be the year of nostalgia, laughter, and pure Bollywood chaos.
