India’s first superhero, Shaktimaan made our childhood entertaining. The series starred Mukesh Khanna in the lead role. Last year in February, Mukesh Khanna made an announcement that the film is in the making around Shaktimaan. And recently a few days back rumours emerged that Ranveer Singh has bagged the lead role in the movie.
Now, after Mukesh Khanna shared further developments in the movie. He revealed that a contract is signed and the movie will be produced by Sony Pictures. Talking about the budget of the film, he said, “One film would cost ?200-300 crore and it will be made by Sony Pictures, the one, who made Spider-Man.”

The movie is allegedly said to be directed by Basil Joseph. The director prominently works in the Malayalam film industry.
Who will play the role of Shaktimaan?
Coming back to the question – whether Raveer Singh will be playing Shaktimaan is yet be confirmed. But, though Mukesh didn’t reveal who will play the role. He stated, “The big question is, will I be Shaktimaan? Who will play it? I can’t reveal. But it is a commercial film, so it involves a lot of commercial talks. But, everyone knows that Shaktimaan cannot be made without me”
An official announcement is soon expected to be made.
