You can soon experience a slice of Vegas in UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah, thanks to Wynn Resorts brand new property in the Middle East. Back in January 2022, it was announced that Wynn Marjan will be the brand’s first property in the region. Wynn Resorts have now registered trademarks for the names Arabian Strip and Marjan Strip. The UAE’s first casino, bigger than Las Vegas is set to open in 2026.

Wynn will boast world-class amenities & will span 3.1 miles
The multi-billion dollar resort, the brand’s first beachfront property, is said have more than 1,000 rooms, world-class shopping, a state-of-the-art meeting and convention facility, an upscale spa, more than ten restaurants and lounges, a wide range of entertainment options, and a licensed gaming area. Besides, the registered names will be used for hotels, accomodation, F&B and social events.
The Las Vegas Strip in the US is more than four miles long and includes two Wynn properties; the Bellagio; Caesar’s Palace; the Trump hotel; the Mirage and many more. As per a report published in Hotelier Middle East last year, the Wynn Resort on Marjan Island will occupy a deserted section of the former Dream Island development. This area of the island has 3.1 miles of beachfront.

Wynn CEO Craig Billings said construction of the Ras Al Khamah hotel will begin in the middle of 2023. “I also expect we will share renderings, programming, and plans publicly over the next few months. The more time we spend in that market, the more confident we are in the project.”
At the time of the announcement, Wynn was the only hotel chain present on that specific area of Marjan Island. Since then, Nobu Marjan Island has been publicized, and videos of Nobu on the property indicate that the Wynn will be nearby.
A Nobu Hotel is located inside the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and, as Caesars advertises, “is only steps away from the casino.”
