Manoj Bajpayee, one of Bollywood’s finest actors, is all set to reunite with his Satya director, Ram Gopal Varma, after almost three decades. The duo that once gave us the gritty gangster cult-classic Satya is now diving headfirst into a horror-comedy rollercoaster titled Police Station Mein Bhoot.
Manoj Bajpayee & Ram Gopal Varma Back in Action – This Time With a Ghostly Twist!
Bajpayee calls it a “full circle” moment, and we couldn’t agree more! After redefining crime cinema in the late ’90s, the actor-director pair is now mixing chills with chuckles. This time, it’s not about ruling the underworld but surviving a haunted police station.
The first motion poster is already making fans scream (and laugh). The caption read, “#PoliceStationMeinBhoot SHOOT BEGINS. From Satya to now… some journeys are meant to come full circle. Thrilled to reunite with @rgvzoomin after nearly three decades for our new horror comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot. This one is special. @geneliad @vauve.emirates @karmamediaent @uentertainmenthub #PoliceStationMeinBhootMovie.” The poster boldly states, “You can’t arrest the dead.”
Adding to the excitement, Genelia Deshmukh is stepping in for some spooky fun. It’s refreshing, quirky, and let’s be honest, this casting twist just made the film ten times more exciting.
What’s the Story?
RGV’s latest experiment isn’t just about jump scares. It flips the script with a cheeky question: When we’re scared, we run to the cops. But when the cops are scared, where do they run? Smart, spooky, and very RGV!
Two icons. A haunted police station. A mix of fear and comedy. Honestly, Police Station Mein Bhoot already looks like the most offbeat film Bollywood has in store, and we’re here for every eerie second of it.
