Rajamouli’s upcoming project, tentatively titled SSMB29, is being penned by Vijayendra Prasad, and let us tell you, the plot sounds next-level wild! Set in the Amazon rainforest, this action-adventure is expected to be a visual spectacle like no other. Mahesh Babu, the dashing Tollywood heartthrob, will lead the film, rumored to channel Indiana Jones vibes with a six-pack twist. Talk about Hanuman meets Hollywood swagger!
If all goes according to plan, SSMB29 is set to hit the floors in January 2025. The film is likely dropping in 2027 or 2028.
Rajamouli’s Tease: A Film Worth the Wait
During a recent event in Japan, Rajamouli shared some insights while RRR was screened for an international audience. “We started my next film. We completed the writing and we are in the pre-production process. But we haven’t finished the casting yet. Only the hero is locked, his name is Mahesh Babu. He is a very good actor. Many of you know him. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast and during the release, I will bring him here,” he revealed. And now, with whispers of Priyanka Chopra joining the cast, fans are losing their collective minds.

While fans are crossing their fingers for this Tollywood debut, PeeCee’s already killing it in Hollywood.
