B-town’s heartthrob Tiger Shroff might just be romancing the ever-elegant Janhvi Kapoor on-screen for the very first time! And no, this isn’t your regular rom-com. We’re talking about an action-packed, revenge-soaked, emotionally chaotic ride directed by Raj Mehta, the man who gave us Good Newwz and Jug Jugg Jeeyo is now switching gears to full-blown drama.
Forget mushy hugs in the rain – this one’s got bullets, betrayals, and a backstory that bites. Word is, the film is titled Lag Jaa Gale and it’s set to blend heart and hardcore action.
Sources revealed, “Raj Mehta’s next is a revenge action love story to be led by Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor. It’s a script he has been working on for a while, and wanted to have a first-time pairing on board. He narrated it to Tiger and Janhvi, and both the talents instantly agreed to come on board the film.” They added, “The team was contemplating on several titles, and felt that Lag Jaa Gale is the apt one for the story. It’s a pure revenge actioner with a strong love-story in the backdrop.”
Production is expected to kick off towards the end of 2025, with an eye on a 2026 theatrical release. It’s big screen bonanza, expect those signature Dharma-style visuals – think sleek action sequences, lovely backdrops, and drama that demands popcorn refills. Sharing more details sources say, “It’s a big screen actioner, and the makers are planning to shoot for some path-breaking sequences in action ft Tiger Shroff.”

Tiger is already revving up for Baaghi 4 alongside Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, with Sanjay Dutt playing the villain. That one drops on September 5, 2025. Meanwhile, Janhvi is about to dazzle in Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra, landing in theatres on July 25, 2025.
