Now she’s shaken things up again, Homi Adajania just confirmed Kriti as the leading lady in Cocktail 2!
Kriti Sanon Steps Into Cocktail 2
Homi Adajania, the man who gave us the cult classic Cocktail back in 2012, is stirring up another round, and this time he’s poured Kriti right in as the central flavour. The director couldn’t resist teasing fans and dropped a quirky monochrome snap of Kriti with her face hidden behind a “Work in Progress” sticker. Subtle? Nope. Effective? Absolutely. The message was loud and clear, Kriti’s already cooking something exciting.
As if that wasn’t enough buzz, Rashmika Mandanna jumped in with her own cheeky Insta story, also covering her face with the same sticker. Talk about twinning and teasing at the same time! Word is, she’s also locked in for the film, which makes Cocktail 2 sound like a double shot of glam.
Also, Shahid Kapoor is confirmed as the leading man. After setting screens ablaze with Kriti in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the duo is back to make sparks fly once again. Add Rashmika into the mix, and you’ve got a recipe for pure Bollywood chaos (the good kind).
What’s Brewing In Cocktail 2?
The plot is still sealed tighter, but we know this much – it’s stylish, it’s messy, and it’s dripping in drama, just like the first one. With Maddock Films producing and Luv Ranjan penning the script, the film is set to serve its magic sometime in late 2026. Mark your calendars, because this sequel promises to keep you tipsy on entertainment.

Apart from Cocktail 2, Kriti’s already riding high. She’s all set to headline Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein with Dhanush and she’s stepping into the super-iconic Don 3.
