When quizzed about her property portfolio in Mumbai, Bebo quipped that she’s ‘struggling’ and has to live in her husband Saif’s Bandra abode. This playful banter came right after a question about her impressive fees, subtly underscoring her top-tier earnings in the industry.
The interviewer pointed out that Kareena is one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood, raking in a cool Rs 10 to 15 crores per film. Flashing her trademark smile, Kareena humorously embraced her status in the industry’s elite league.

“I hope so, I hope whatever you say is right. It’s not about my acting… The films I choose are not about money, that I am very clear about. It has never been about the money. If I like a role, I might do a film for less, it depends on my mood, it depends on what the film is, what the role is offering. I am at that stage where I think I can do whatever. If it is a big commercial film, then your figures are less (laughs).”
When the conversation shifted to her property holdings, Kareena was quick to clear the air. “This is my husband’s house, we are sitting and doing this interview in that. See I am struggling,” she joked, adding a touch of humor to her status as one of Bollywood’s leading ladies.
