But it’s not just their stunning looks or acting chops that keep them in the headlines – it’s their little princes, Taimur and Jeh. Ever since Taimur was born in December 2016, he has been breaking the internet with his adorable paparazzi snaps. Being one of the first star kids to face this kind of attention came with a bit of drama. Turns out, some people weren’t too thrilled about his name, and Kareena’s spilling the tea on how it affected her. She even reveals what Saif had to say about it.
Kareena Kapoor opens up on how Taimur’s name creating controversy affected her
During a candid chat with Miss Malini, Bebo dished on how the backlash over Taimur’s name hit her hard. The Crew actress revealed, ““Of course, it affected me that people were talking about his name. He probably doesn’t even know that there was a whole drama and now suddenly everybody if like, ‘Ok whatever’. But he also got a lot of love for the fact that people were so interested in him. I was like, ‘But why? Because you don’t even know him, he is so small’. So I feel that now he will slowly understand and is understanding the whole culture of the fact that people follow him or he is being clicked.”
Kareena also opened up about how she’s been preparing little Tim to understand the world of glitz and glam he was born into. “But I have to obviously keep reminding him that, ‘It’s important that you do something, your parents have done something.’ So he has figured it out slowly and I took that in my stride,” she added. This shows that this momma bear knows exactly how to handle the pressure.

And speaking of handling things like a boss, Saif was as chill as ever during the whole fiasco. “In fact, Saif was very relaxed and calm also about it. He was like, ‘We need to be calm and we need to be sure.’ So I’m happy we had each other to discuss that. That’s also the reason why I share a lot on Instagram but yet I don’t share a lot on Instagram. I’m happy to be accessible to my fans for what they need to see. But there’s also a side because of everything I’ve been through I’m always gonna be a little away,” Kareena shared.
Fast forward to 2021, and the couple welcomed another little bundle of joy, Jeh Ali Khan. It added even more star power to their family. But one thing’s for sure, the Khans are ready to face whatever comes their way.
