The actress recently spilled some major beauty tea at the launch of Rujuta Diwekar’s book, The Commonsense Diet, and let’s just say – her approach to ageing is as iconic as her “Poo” energy!
Kareena Kapoor Says No To Botox, Yes To Good Food & Yoga!
For Kareena, ageing isn’t something to fight, it’s something to embrace! Instead of going under the needle, she’s all about natural remedies, eating right, and staying active. At the event, she got candid about her wellness mantra:
“For that, I need to eat right with her (Rutuja) guidance. That’s what for me, ageing and life is. I love it, I’m embracing it, but I’m taking all these particular things, like eating ghee, eating khichdi, doing a little bit of weight training for muscle strength, walking a little, my Surya Namaskars, doing my little work on my own rather than skin treatments and botox”.
Now, that’s some A-list skincare advice we can actually follow!
Bebo didn’t stop at just beauty tips, she also threw in some major self-love wisdom! According to her, confidence comes from within, not from a clinic. She also revealed that keeping her skin radiant has nothing to do with artificial procedures, it’s all about good food, good vibes, and taking care of yourself the right way!
Food = Happiness for bebo
Now, if there’s one thing we love about Kareena (other than her flawless skin), it’s her unapologetic love for food. Unlike the usual Bollywood diet culture, she’s all about eating what makes her happy—and honestly, same!
She shared, “In my early years when I was chubby, my relationship with food was amazing. It’s not like I ever tried to starve myself. I’m very comfortable in my own skin. In my teenage years also, I think I was always really happy to pick up a packet of chips. But I was a confident girl… In the last 10–15 years, I have just gone back to the same food. I’m always very happy with it. Because whether it’s good for me or bad for me, I just love the fact that it comforts me, it makes me feel happy. I feel amazing. And that’s the most important thing for me”.
