But amid all the dhol, dance, and devotion, Kajol didn’t hesitate to bring out her fierce side when a devotee crossed the line and it’s giving us major don’t-mess-with-me vibes.
Kajol Calls Out Rule-Breaker During Puja
In a video that’s spreading like wildfire, Kajol didn’t hold back as she reprimanded a devotee for stepping into the sacred Puja space wearing shoes. The star grabbed the mic and made it loud and clear, “No shoes, please!” She continued to call for some basic decorum, adding, “Everyone wearing shoes, please move aside. Show some respect for the puja. And stop pushing against the barricade, it’s not a concert!” While she laid down the law, Alia Bhatt was spotted standing nearby, looking like she’d much rather be anywhere else. Even Kajol’s sister, Tanishaa Mukerji, joked to Alia, “I’m scared now!” Well, can you blame her? Kajol’s inner Durga was on full display.

This wasn’t the only time the feisty actress served up some tough love at the Puja. Earlier in the day, hubby Ajay Devgn made a rare appearance at the pandal with their son Yug, and Kajol made sure the family photo-op was picture-perfect by literally pinching Ajay to remind him to put his arm around her.
And if you thought it was only devotees getting on her nerves, think again! Kajol also had a bone to pick with the paparazzi. When photographers were blocking the crowd’s view of the anjouli ceremony, she didn’t hesitate to channel her inner drill sergeant. “Move back, please! People are trying to give anjouli,” she shouted, making sure the paparazzi knew exactly who was in charge.
