Remember how Mahesh Bhatt, Vikram Bhatt, and Anand Pandit served us nightmares with cult horrors like Raaz, 1920, and Haunted! That trip down the horror lane is back, this time starring Mimoh Chakraborty. The teaser of Haunted: Ghosts of the Past just dropped, and it’s pure chills.
Haunted House, Dark Secrets & A Man Running From His Past
Picture this: a lonely mansion in the mountains, a man trying to escape his demons, and walls that whisper secrets darker than midnight. That’s the vibe of Haunted: Ghosts of the Past. Directed by none other than Vikram Bhatt, the man who made horror equal parts romantic and terrifying, this one promises goosebumps with a side of heartbreak.
Producer Anand Pandit is buzzing with excitement, saying this film is for everyone craving a real horror experience in theatres. After the roaring success of the 1920s revival in 2023, he’s betting big on Haunted. If Vikram Bhatt is in his horror groove, you’d better walk into cinemas with extra popcorn and maybe holy water.
Talking about the film, Vikram confessed that his horrors aren’t just about jump scares. Expect haunting love stories, drama, and those iconic soundtracks that stay in your head long after the ghosts fade. He shared, “My horror films have always been the romantized horror films – songs – intrigue – love story and the frightening. And that is Haunted – Ghosts of the past as well. In the times of films where horror comes with a dollop of comedy, Haunted Ghost of the past comes with a big serving of horror and heartbreaking love. Boss (Mahesh Bhatt) has been my mentor on so many of these outings that it’s a well oiled team. Anand bhai makes films not because he needs to but because he has a passion for it. When so much passion comes together, the outcome is always one of excellence.”

The scare-fest is produced by Anand Pandit, Rakesh Juneja, and Shwetambari Bhatt, with a strong backing team of co-producers including Roopa Pandit and Rahul V Dubey. Distributed by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, this one’s got a big, bold release plan.
If you thought the Bhatts were done serving us horror brilliance, think again. Haunted: Ghosts of the Past isn’t here to play; it’s here to haunt. Mark your calendars, because the horror fest hits theatres on November 21.
