Beloved Chi Chi accidentally shot himself at 4:45 AM, and let’s just say it wasn’t part of any movie stunt. The actor was rushed to the hospital after the shocking incident, and guess who showed up first? None other than Kashmera Shah, wife of Govinda’s nephew, Krushna Abhishek. Apparently, she’s the one who’s been in the middle of the Govinda-Sunita family feud saga.
Govinda goes through an Unfortunate Misfire Moment
According to reports, Govinda was at home getting ready for a flight to Kolkata. As he was handling his licensed revolver, the gun decided to have its own moment of drama. It misfired and the bullet landed in Govinda’s leg! His manager, Shashi Sinha, explained, “We had a 6 am flight to catch for a show in Kolkata and had reached the airport. Govinda ji was about to leave his residence for the airport when this accident happened.” He added, “He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg.”
Don’t panic, though! The bullet’s been removed and Doctors say he’s doing fine, and it was just a precaution to take him to the hospital.
Doctor’s Update: All’s Good in Govinda’s World!
The doctor attending Govinda, Dr. Agarwal, gave an update that instantly calmed fans. The bullet hit just below the knee but didn’t travel far. It stayed lodged in his leg and now they have successfully removed it. Govinda is recovering smoothly and will be back to dancing his iconic moves in no time.
Govinda Speaks Out After The Incident
The actor wasn’t going to keep silent for long. In true Govinda style, he sent an audio note to paparazzo Viral Bhayani, thanking his stars and, of course, his fans. He said, “Namaskar, respect. I am Govinda. I have the blessings of all of you and the blessings of my parents and the mercy of my Guru… and due to that, the bullet that was lodged in me has been removed. Exressing my gratitude to the doctors here, particularly esteemed Dr. Agarwal, and also to all of you who are present… would like to thank you all.” Even after a gunshot, he’s still the same humble star, showing gratitude to the doctors, especially Dr. Agarwal, and his fans for their endless prayers.
Who Rushed to His Side?
Well, the Bollywood brigade showed up in full force! While fans flooded social media with concern, Govinda’s longtime collaborator, director David Dhawan, wasted no time in rushing to the hospital. The two have delivered more hits than we can count, and Dhawan wasn’t going to sit this one out. Shatrughan Sinha also made an appearance, because who can resist showering love on Govinda, right?
