Global Village has bid us goodbye for its 27th season, and the budget-friendly family attraction in Dubai welcomed more than 9 million guests during Season 27, its highest-ever visitor numbers. Known as the region’s leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, Global Village’s season 27 showcased over 90 cultures across 27 pavilions. Guests enjoyed over 175 rides and attractions and 77 unique fireworks displays. And while the season ended with a bang, we are already missing it. Global Village is all set to make a comeback in October 2023. Yep, you read that right! Global Village took its website and Twitter to make this official announcement. “We’re not just waving goodbye… It’s just for some time and we promise to bring you even more in season 28,” Global Village posted on Twitter.
The exact opening dates are yet to be announced, but the 28th season will run from October 2023-April 2024. For its 27th season, Global Village had 40,000 performances by 400 artists from over 40 different nationalities and with each passing year, the family-friendly attraction is getting bigger and better. Even for the 28th season, we can expect bigger experiences, enhancements and new retail offerings.

Speaking about the success of the 27th season, Fernando Eiroa, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Entertainment to WAM said, “This new record achieved over 188 days firmly positions Global Village as not only the region’s number one entertainment attraction but also one of the world’s most popular entertainment destinations. Dubai Gets A New Neon Space-Themed Indoor Playworld
And till the next season of Global Village begins, there are a plethora of new attractions in Dubai that you must visit. Dubai Resorts and Parks, Middle East’s largest theme park destination, has launched a new neon space-themed indoor Playworld on the grounds of Riverland. Perfect to beat the UAE heat, Neon Galaxy has tons of fun things and activities to offer.
Located At Dubai Parks & Resorts, Neon Galaxy is a new multi-level indoor adventure park spread across 860 m2 for children and young teens. The Playworld features ‘Astro Arena’ and ‘Little Astronauts’, making it the perfect place for teens and kids. In terms of pricing, Kids above 98cm can enjoy Astro Arena for AED 85 per hour or AED 125 for a full-day pass. And kids under 98 cm can spend a fun time at Little Astronauts for as little as AED 60 for an hour or AED 90 for a full day pass. And dear parents, if you think there’s nothing for you, you must know that Neon Galaxy has a cafe for adults, where you can grab a bite, chill and unwind while your kiddos have a blast in the dedicated arenas.
