Girls-Only Beach in Jeddah Is Turning Heads in the Gulf

A chic women only beach retreat in Jeddah Season, and what Dubai readers should know.

Jeddah has just introduced something the Gulf hasn’t quite seen at this scale before—Bambi Beach, a women-only, pink-themed beach space that’s now live as part of Jeddah Season 2025.

Operating until 23 October, this pop-up beach is designed for women looking to unwind, swim, and socialise in a space that’s private, secure, and styled with soft aesthetics. And while it’s currently exclusive to Saudi Arabia, it’s already got women in Dubai taking notice.

Inside the pink beach zone

Bambi Beach is not your typical coastal venue. The design is playful yet refined, centred around shades of blush, coral and soft rose. There are no mixed crowds or noisy water sports—just open-sea access, shaded lounges, floating pontoons and chill areas reserved for women aged 16 and above.

Guests can book shaded daybeds and inflatables, enjoy open-sea swimming (well beyond shoreline paddling), or head to the beauty station on-site for services like massages, manicures or hairstyling—all in the fresh air.

Two local food spots, Xbite and Sunset Café, are also present, offering bites and refreshments without having to step off the sand.

Entry starts at SAR70, and advance booking is encouraged. Daily timings run from 10.30am to 6.30pm.

It’s not just about the beach

There’s more to this than lounging. The beach also hosts programming throughout the season—wellness activities, guided sessions and live DJ music curated for a female audience. It’s drawing attention by being tailored and intimate.

Many in Dubai’s wellness and events scene are already discussing whether something similar could emerge here—especially as curated, community-driven spaces continue to trend.

What does it signal for Dubai?

While Dubai already offers a range of women-focused experiences—spa days, ladies-only gym timings, female-only pools—what Bambi Beach represents is a shift toward more thematic, social and immersive setups.

Planners and developers might soon bring similar setups to the UAE—especially to destinations like Palm West Beach, Kite Beach, or Al Mamzar—since the infrastructure there already supports separate access.

Dubai-based residents have voiced online that a pop-up like Bambi Beach would attract strong demand locally—especially in the cooler season when beachside leisure hits its peak.

Another Jeddah Season favourite: Forest Wonders

While Bambi Beach has a sun-soaked focus, Jeddah Season is also home to another indoor hit—Forest Wonders.

Designers created this jungle-themed zone with full air-conditioning, drawing inspiration straight from forest life. It features interactive animal experiences, including turtles, lemurs and goats, alongside shows and family-friendly activities.

Located in the Al Mohammadiya District, it runs until 30 August, with entry priced at SAR25. Timings are 4pm to 11pm, with last entry at 10pm. It’s the ideal option for those avoiding the sun, but still seeking something out of the ordinary.

A glimpse of what could come

Between Bambi Beach and Forest Wonders, Jeddah Season has expanded the regional conversation about what seasonal zones can offer—especially for women and families.

What they both share is this: they are curated, purpose-built, and crafted to serve a niche audience with care. That same model has long driven successful venues in Dubai—from DIFC’s wellness offerings to purpose-built wellness retreats in the desert.

If Bambi Beach is successful—and early signals say it is—it may not be long before we see a locally inspired version pop up in Dubai, especially as seasonal activations continue to evolve.

The arrival of Bambi Beach marks more than a temporary summer attraction. It offers a moment to pause and consider what leisure could look like when designed specifically for women—something stylish, social, and thoughtfully delivered.

For Dubai’s audience, it’s a reminder that innovation doesn’t always have to mean the next big theme park or retail mega space. Sometimes, a bit of sun, sea and space just for women is enough to start a conversation.
