Join TDRA’s Free Virtual Summer Camp for Kids and Teens in Dubai

Exciting news for young tech enthusiasts in the UAE! The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) is offering a free virtual summer camp for kids and teens aged 7 to 18. This year’s camp runs from August 5 to August 16 and focuses on game development and sustainability.

Understanding TDRA Virtual Camp

The TDRA Virtual Camp is a yearly event designed to teach children and teenagers valuable tech skills. This year, the camp will spotlight game development and sustainability, providing a great way for participants to learn and have fun.

Signing up for the TDRA Virtual Camp is easy. Just follow these steps:

  • Visit the Registration Page: Go to TDRA Virtual Camp Registration.
  • Complete the Form: Fill in your full name, email address, nationality, date of birth, gender, and city of residence. Also, include a parent’s mobile number and your own (optional).
  • Choose Your Language: Select either Arabic or English.
  • Submit Your Registration: Agree to the terms and click ‘register’. You’ll get a confirmation email with your reference ID. The camp link will be sent to you a few days before it starts.

The camp features a variety of interactive sessions covering different tech topics. Each day includes live one-hour sessions on YouTube. Here’s a look at some of the topics:

  • Robotics Senior (EV3 – Mindstorm)
  • Arduino
  • Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
  • Game Development with Microsoft MakeCode
  • Coding in Python

  • Hour of Code
  • 3D Designing (TinkerCad and Fusion 360)

Participants can choose up to three courses per day. They can also repeat sessions or start new projects to further their learning.
