From 1 November 2025, Flynas will bring back direct services between Jeddah and Kuwait City, adding three weekly flights to its network. With this update, the Saudi low-cost carrier will operate a total of 10 weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, combining Jeddah and Riyadh connections.
The move comes as part of Flynas’s ongoing expansion, which supports Saudi Arabia’s strategy to strengthen regional connectivity and open greater travel opportunities across the Gulf.
Strengthening Travel Links Across the Gulf

The resumption of Jeddah–Kuwait flights provides travellers with more flexibility when planning trips for business, family visits, or religious purposes. For many UAE residents travelling to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, this development means easier connections and shorter transit times.
The new Jeddah flights are particularly important for those heading onwards to Makkah, making the route a convenient option for Umrah travellers from the UAE. At the same time, the additional frequency boosts options for professionals who regularly move between Gulf capitals for work.
Supporting Saudi Vision 2030 Goals
Flynas’s expansion reflects broader national goals under Vision 2030, which includes ambitious plans to connect Saudi Arabia with more than 250 destinations worldwide and increase the number of annual passengers significantly in the coming years.
Improving accessibility to Jeddah also aligns with the Pilgrims Experience Programme, which aims to make travel smoother for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques. By expanding connections through Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Flynas contributes to making the region more accessible for international travellers, many of whom pass through the UAE.
Added Convenience for Travellers
For passengers, the new Jeddah–Kuwait flights mean greater choice, competitive fares, and improved scheduling. With ten flights per week available, travellers now have more flexibility to match journeys with work meetings, family visits, or religious obligations.
The Jeddah connection is especially significant for groups and families planning Umrah trips, offering a direct and time-saving option compared with indirect routes. Business travellers too benefit from more frequent services that allow for day-to-day flexibility, an increasingly important factor as Gulf economies strengthen their regional ties.
Booking and Accessibility
Tickets for the expanded schedule can be booked through the Flynas website, mobile app, customer service centre, and authorised travel agencies. The airline continues to promote itself as a low-cost yet customer-friendly option, appealing to both leisure and corporate travellers across the region.
With an expanding network that now includes more than 30 countries, Flynas continues to position itself as a key player in regional aviation, offering connections that are not only affordable but also increasingly reliable.
A Growing Regional Aviation Player
Since its launch in 2007, Flynas has carried more than 80 million passengers, cementing its reputation as Saudi Arabia’s leading low-cost carrier. With over 2,000 flights operated weekly, the airline’s growth is part of a wider effort to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s aviation footprint while enhancing travel options across the Gulf.
The resumption of the Jeddah–Kuwait route demonstrates Flynas’s commitment to supporting both regional trade and cultural exchange. It reflects the rising demand for short-haul connectivity between Gulf states, a trend that is particularly relevant for UAE-based residents who travel frequently within the region.
Outlook for Gulf Connectivity
As regional economies diversify and strengthen, the importance of short-haul, high-frequency routes continues to grow. For UAE residents, particularly those in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the increased capacity between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait provides greater travel convenience and strengthens the Gulf’s overall aviation network.
The move is expected to encourage more collaboration across business sectors, tourism, and religious travel, offering tangible benefits to travellers and contributing to the broader integration of Gulf economies.
The return of Jeddah–Kuwait flights and the expansion to ten weekly services highlight Flynas’s role in shaping a more connected Gulf. For Dubai’s residents—whether professionals, families, or pilgrims—this added flexibility makes regional travel simpler, more efficient, and more affordable.
