Summertime is here, and while it is getting super hot in the UAE, it’s also time to take the annual summer vacation with your family and loved ones. And to ensure that you have the best summer holidays, airlines and hotels are launching various summer deals. From Etihad Airways offering summer deals to Cebu Pacific launching AED1 flights, there’s a lot to avail this holiday season. Dubai’s budget carrier, FlyDubai, is also preparing for its busiest summer to date and has issued a travel advisory for passengers. Read on to know more.

FlyDubai Launches New Flights To Summer Destinations From June 21st
Dubai’s low-cost carrier, FlyDubai, is expecting more than 4.5 million passengers between June and the end of September. And to ensure that everyone travels comfortably with the airline, FlyDubai has added 33 per cent more capacity across their markets for the Eid holiday and busy summer period. Furthermore, it has issued a travel advisory that you must note if you are flying with FlyDubai for your upcoming holidays.
The airline has advised the passengers to arrive at the airport at least four hours before departure. Besides, the airline has also announced that check-in closes 60 minutes before the departure and boarding gates 20 minutes before the takeoff.
Airline Advises Passengers To Arrive 4 Hours Before Flight Departure
When it comes to online check-in, it opens from 48 hours up to 90 minutes before the flight departure time. Before heading to the airport, passengers must check their baggage allowance to avoid confusion later. Furthermore, FlyDubai advises travellers to check all the documentation required for travel to their destination, including any visas and health requirements, before arriving at the airport.

Besides this, FlyDubai has also added flights to nine new destinations ahead of Eid and the summer holidays. At present, the carrier will fly to 117 destinations across 52 countries this summer, and now from June 21- you can book flights to nine seasonal summer destinations.
Flights to Mykonos are to begin on June 21st, Olbia on June 22nd, and Tivat, Trabzon, Bodrum and Corfu from June 24th. FlyDubai will start operations in Croatia, Greece and Georgia on June 25th. The carrier has also decided to increase capacity by 20 per cent on select destinations like- Baku, Beirut, Colombo, Male, Tbilisi, Yerevan and Zanzibar for the Eid Al Adha holiday.
