The Filmfare Awards, one of the most prestigious film awards in India, celebrated its 68th edition with a bang. The event, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, was a star-studded affair, graced by the who’s who of Bollywood. From glamorous red carpet appearances to scintillating performances, the ceremony was a visual treat for movie buffs across the globe.
The excitement was palpable as top celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Sunny Leone, Shriya Saran, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Alaya F, Rakul Preet Singh and others walked the red carpet, posing for the paparazzi. Janhvi Kapoor, who has been making waves with her performances, added to the glitz and glamour of the night as she hosted a segment of the show, looking ethereal in a purple gown. As a whole the award show was hosted by Salman Khan and Maniesh Paul.
The stage was set on fire by some of the most talented actors in the industry, with Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal and Jacqueline Fernandez delivering power-packed performances. The awards night saw Gangubai Kathiawadi bagging a majority of the technical awards, leaving the audience in awe of the film’s grandeur.

The 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2021, although missing some of the big stars due to their other commitments, managed to shine a spotlight on some of the most deserving actors in the industry. The much-awaited ceremony will be aired on April 28th on Colors TV, giving viewers a chance to witness the glitz and glamour of the night.
The awards night was a celebration of sheer talent and dedication, as actors who had worked tirelessly to bring their characters to life on screen were rewarded for their efforts. While some of the big names were absent, the ceremony saw deserving artists receiving the recognition they richly deserved.
