Monster Jam Takes Abu Dhabi by Storm

Etihad Arena kicked off its extraordinary year with the regional debut of Monster Jam in May 2023. The event showcased 5,500KG trucks defying gravity, soaring through the air, and thrilling fans with masterful control over mammoth monster trucks across 1500 tonnes of sand.

Chart-topping concerts and Global Icons

The Award-Winning Concert Series featured international sensations like Guns N’ Roses and the Backstreet Boys, making their UAE debut performances on Yas Island. The Etihad Arena resonated with sell-out shows featuring artists like Robbie Williams, Charlie Puth, and Amr Diab, captivating audiences throughout 2023.

Global Recognition for Film Excellence

Etihad Arena also played host to the Indian International Film Festival in May, welcoming Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan. The venue shone brightly as it celebrated the best of Indian cinema on an international stage.

A Green Slime Affair with Nickelodeon

In September, the global pop culture celebration, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, brought its renowned green slime to Abu Dhabi. Regional stars and international sensation Jessie J added an extra layer of glamour to the event, making it a memorable night for attendees.

NBA Abu Dhabi Games: A Slam Dunk Success

The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023 presented by ADQ saw the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves play two preseason games in front of record crowds.
