Emirates has introduced a new complimentary coach service for Economy Class passengers flying to and from Clark International Airport (CRK) in the Philippines. The service aims to make travel more convenient and accessible for Filipino passengers flying to Dubai and other global destinations.
Available from June 10, 2025, the coach will connect Trinoma in Quezon City with Clark International Airport in Pampanga, helping passengers from Metro Manila and nearby areas avoid the hassle of arranging private transport.
This offering is especially beneficial to the large number of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and UAE-based Filipino residents who frequently travel between the two countries.
Who is eligible for the free Emirates coach service?
To take advantage of the complimentary coach, passengers must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an Emirates-issued ticket with a ticket number beginning with 176
- Be travelling in Economy Class via Clark International Airport (CRK)
- Have a confirmed coach reservation at least 48 hours before departure
Only passengers with valid coach bookings will be permitted to board. Those without prior reservations or valid Emirates tickets will not be allowed on the coach.
How to book the Emirates coach to Clark
Booking the coach service is straightforward. Passengers booking their tickets through the Emirates website should choose Trinoma (TRP) as their departure or arrival city. This will automatically include the coach service in the booking.
For those using a travel agent or visiting an Emirates office, it’s important to request the inclusion of the coach service before the ticket is issued. This ensures that the transfer is added without the need for later amendments.
Why Clark Airport is gaining more attention
Clark International Airport is increasingly becoming a preferred alternative to the congested Manila airports. Located in Pampanga, north of the capital, Clark offers modern facilities and faster check-ins. However, the lack of easy transport links to Metro Manila has been a drawback—until now.
By offering a direct coach from the heart of Quezon City, Emirates is bridging the logistical gap and enhancing passenger convenience. The average journey between Trinoma and Clark takes approximately 90 minutes to two hours, depending on traffic conditions.
Emirates expands further across Asia
Alongside the new coach service, Emirates has unveiled three additional routes in Asia, adding further flexibility and choice for UAE-based travellers.
Flights to Vietnam and Cambodia launched in June
Emirates has begun operating:
- Four weekly flights to Da Nang, Vietnam via Bangkok
- Three weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia also via Bangkok
Both destinations are known for their cultural richness and tourist appeal, making them popular options for summer travel from Dubai.
Shenzhen, China to be added in July
From July 1, 2025, Emirates will also begin daily non-stop flights to Shenzhen, China’s rapidly growing innovation and tech hub. This move caters to the increasing number of business travellers between the UAE and China, as well as leisure travellers seeking new destinations.
A stronger customer focus and growing global network
These new initiatives underline Emirates’ commitment to customer-centric service and expanding its global network. The complimentary coach service in the Philippines not only adds value to passengers but also reflects the airline’s ongoing investment in markets with strong demand from both leisure and expatriate travellers.
By reducing the burden of long-distance ground transport and expanding flight options, Emirates continues to position itself as a carrier of choice for UAE residents and international passengers alike.
For Filipino travellers looking to visit the UAE or head back home with greater ease, the Emirates free coach service is a welcome development. Coupled with new routes to Vietnam, Cambodia, and China, Emirates is offering more travel choices for summer 2025.
This is a step forward in making international travel more accessible, efficient, and customer-friendly—qualities that have long defined the airline’s reputation.
