Dubai World Trade Centre Welcomes Record 2.47 Million Visitors in 2023

Driving Economic Growth and Global Recognition

Dubai’s famous Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) had a fantastic year in 2023, hosting a whopping 2.47 million visitors. This is a big jump from the previous year, showing that Dubai is a top spot for business and events.

Record-Breaking Attendance

The increase in visitors was thanks to successful events like Gitex Global and Gulfood. These events saw more people attending, with Gitex Global growing by 44% and Gulfood by 31%. This shows Dubai’s strength in technology and the food industry.

Global Participation

Dubai also attracted more international visitors, thanks to its busy schedule of events. This aligns with Dubai’s goal of becoming one of the top three economic cities globally by 2033, known as the D33 Agenda.

Thriving Exhibitions

DWTC hosted 20 exhibitions and events in 2023, with a total of 519,000 attendees, a 42% increase from the year before. Over 17,000 companies exhibited at these events, indicating a vibrant business environment.
