Dubai is home to several theme parks and attractions; however, whether you are a resident or a tourist, your trip to Dubai is incomplete without visiting The Bollywood Parks Dubai. On March 22, the theme park announced its temporary closure for Ramadan; however, they have now taken their Instagram account to announce the permanent closure. “Bollywood Parks Dubai will close permanently from April 20, 2023,” the park wrote on Instagram.
The Bollywood Parks Dubai Shuts After Being A Hit For 7 Years
Bollywood Parks opened in 2016, and the inaugural event was led by the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. And now, after entertaining users for over seven years, one of the most celebrated parks- The Bollywood Park is now shut. However, there’s some good news for all you Bollywood buffs out there. The park is closing, but its main attraction, the Raj Mahal Theatre, will continue to host private events. Its reopening date is yet to be announced.
While this is shocking, the reason behind the closure is not announced; however, a statement on their website reads, “We will be announcing exciting details of the new attractions and experiences set to open at the Middle East’s largest theme park destination over the coming months.”

And while we are sad about this news, the other news making us happy is, Dubai Parks and Resorts has signed a deal with Real Madrid, one of the world’s biggest and most successful clubs.
What Can Fans Expect?
Dubai will soon boast a unique theme park, dedicated to all things Real Madrid. From the players to history and their records, Madrid fans are in for a visual treat. The Real Madrid theme park in Dubai caters to families and aims to entertain and engage guests with football-related activities.
Visitors can enjoy audio-visual exhibits, interactive games, and memorabilia that were inspired by the tradition of the group that Fifa awarded the Best Club of the 20th Century.
The venue’s design is still being finalized, but it is planned to have a museum, rides like roller coasters and other amusements, as well as eating and drinking establishments, shops selling merchandise, and football matches for fans of all ages.
The world’s first Real Madrid theme park will join Motiongate, Legoland Dubai, Bollywood Park Dubai and Lapita Hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
If things go as per plan, the theme park will open in Q4 this year.
