Dubai Makes It To The List Of World’s Top 10 Picturesque Cities

And when it comes to picturesque places, Dubai has made it to the list of the world’s top 10 picturesque cities. Travel portal, Travelbag has released the data for the top 10 picturesque cities, and Dubai has bagged the sixth spot, whereas London has come first. Dubai Bags The 6th Spot Of the World’s Top 10 Picturesque Cities

Travelbag has curated this list by analysing hashtag data for 100 cities on Instagram and TikTok. The list helps you understand the best picture-worthy cities in the world. Dubai has bagged the sixth spot on the list with over 50,000 Instagram hashtags and close to 12 million views on TikTok. Whereas- London managed to top the list with more than 160,000 Instagram posts under the hashtag #SummerinLondon and almost 21 million views on TikTok.

Paris took the second spot, followed by Berlin. These cities have over 150,000 Instagram posts and 13.7 million and 62,621 TikTok views, respectively. Chicago and Seattle rounded off the top five list by bagging the fourth and fifth spots respectively. Two Australian cities- Sydney and Melbourne also made it to the top-10 list.

When it comes to the most-viewed cities on Tiktok, New York and London topped the chart with more than 70 million views for summer hashtags. New York became the most Tiktokable summer city with 52.3 million views under the hashtag #SummerinNewYork on the platform. Besides being ranked as one of the picturesque cities, Dubai was recently ranked as one of the most expensive cities for expats. According to Mercer’s Cost of Living City Ranking for 2023, Dubai has bagged the 18th spot, while Abu Dhabi comes at the 43rd position. Whereas Hong Kong, Singapore and Zurich rank in the top three and Geneva, Basel and Bern rank fourth, fifth and seventh, respectively. Read on to know more.

Dubai Is The Second Most Expensive City For Expats In The Middle East 

The survey compared the prices of 200 goods and products in more than 400 cities, and the list was made based on factors like- fuel prices, bread prices, utilities, food, domestic supplies and entertainment. Israel’s Tel Aviv became the most expensive city in the Middle East by bagging the eighth spot on the list. Copenhagen and Nassau in the Bahamas rounded the top 10, ranking ninth and 10th. Dubai climbed 13 places on the list, making it the most expensive city in Middle East North African (MENA) region, Abu Dhabi rose to 18 positions and bagged the 43rd spot. Riyadh bagged the 85th position, Manama took the 98th spot, and Jeddah climbed 10 places to 101st.

Muscat and Kuwait made it to the list with 130th and 131st positions. Whereas, Istanbul with the highest price increase for bread and gasoline, rose 37 places to 185th place. Asian cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo and Shenzhen, and American cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu made it to the top 20 list.

Islamabad Bags The Spot For Cheapest City For Expats 

Furthermore, the report highlighted that with the recent introduction of aggressive national monetary policies and the tightening of global financial conditions, along with the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, many economies are likely to see slower income growth this year along with Debt and rising unemployment.
