The Dubai Racing Club has set the stage for the 29th Dubai World Cup, scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Meydan Racecourse. The 2025 edition follows an exciting racing season that kicks off on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Key Dates for the 2024-2025 Season
The upcoming racing season will feature several notable events. ‘Festive Friday,’ set for December 20, will showcase the AED1 million G2 Maktoum Mile. On January 24, 2025, ‘Fashion Friday’ will be headlined by the AED3.68 million G1 Al Maktoum Challenge. Another key date is the Emirates Super Saturday, scheduled for March 1, 2025, just a month before the Dubai World Cup.

This year’s Dubai World Cup will be part of an extended 16-meeting Carnival. This extension, scheduled a week later than usual, aligns with Eid Al Fitr celebrations in the UAE, reflecting the event’s growing international appeal.
