Dubai Stand Up Paddle 2025 Returns to Hatta Dam for a Two-Day Fitness Weekend

Paddle, kayak, and stretch at Hatta Dam as Dubai Stand Up Paddle expands into a full outdoor fitness experience

Dubai Stand Up Paddle is back, and this year it is bigger than ever. What started as a single-day event is now a full weekend of outdoor fitness and family fun at the beautiful Hatta Dam. Taking place on November 8 and 9, 2025, the event promises more activities, more community engagement, and more reasons to enjoy Dubai’s stunning natural landscapes.

Last year, over 2,300 participants glided across Hatta Dam, enjoying the turquoise waters framed by the Hajar Mountains. This year, organizers have expanded the experience into a two-day outdoor festival, offering paddleboarding, kayaking, yoga, and other activities for all ages and abilities.

Paddleboarding for Everyone

Dubai Stand Up Paddle 2025 remains at the heart of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, welcoming paddlers of all skill levels. Certified instructors provide free stand-up paddleboarding sessions, ensuring beginners feel comfortable while giving experienced participants the opportunity to test their skills. All necessary equipment, including boards, paddles, and life jackets, is included, along with safety briefings for every session.

Participants can also enjoy adaptive water activities designed for People of Determination. Specialized teams assist with equipment and guidance, making the event inclusive and accessible to all.

Kayaking Adventures

In addition to paddleboarding, Dubai Stand Up Paddle 2025 offers complimentary kayaking sessions. Single kayaks are available for participants aged 17 and above, while double kayaks allow younger paddlers to join with an accompanying adult. Spots are limited and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging early registration for the best chance to participate.

Kayaking provides a fun, low-impact way to enjoy the calm waters of Hatta Dam while taking in the surrounding mountains. Families and friends can explore the dam together, making it a perfect combination of fitness and leisure.

Sunset Yoga on the Water

After an active day on the water, participants can unwind with sunset yoga sessions. Held on floating platforms, these sessions are led by experienced instructors and offer the chance to stretch, relax, and enjoy panoramic views of the Hajar Mountains. The yoga experience complements the physical activity of paddleboarding and kayaking, promoting balance, mindfulness, and wellness.

Food, Community, and Atmosphere

The event isn’t just about activity; it’s a celebration of community. Food trucks and kiosks provide a variety of options to suit all tastes, from quick bites to healthy meals. The weekend creates a festival-like atmosphere where families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts can socialize, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Getting There and Making a Weekend of It

Dubai Stand Up Paddle 2025 organizers provide free shuttle services from the One Central Free Parking Lot near Dubai World Trade Centre to Hatta Dam. This ensures easy access for participants from across Dubai.

For those planning to extend their visit, Hatta offers additional activities including hiking trails, ziplining adventures, and local dining experiences. The weekend event can easily become a mini getaway, combining fitness, relaxation, and exploration.

Registration and Participation

Registrations are now open. Participants can sign up via the Dubai Fitness Challenge portal. With limited spaces for certain sessions, early registration is recommended to secure participation in paddleboarding, kayaking, and yoga activities.

Dubai Stand Up Paddle 2025 continues to emphasize wellness, sustainability, and inclusivity, providing an experience that inspires long-term active lifestyles for residents and visitors alike.
