Save Big on Motorist Services with Dubai Police’s ‘On-the-Go’ Initiative

Dubai Police introduces cost-saving services at petrol stations

Dubai Police has launched the innovative ‘On-the-Go’ service to provide residents with faster, more accessible solutions for their driving and safety needs. Partnering with leading fuel suppliers such as ENOC, ADNOC, and Emarat, this initiative is now available at over 130 petrol stations across the emirate, revolutionizing the way motorists handle minor accidents and other police-related services.

What is the ‘On-the-Go’ Initiative?

This forward-thinking program is designed to bring six essential police services directly to motorists at petrol stations, ensuring convenience and efficiency.

Services Offered Under the Initiative

  • Minor Traffic Accident Reports
Drivers involved in minor collisions can now report incidents instantly without visiting a police station.
  • Accidents Involving Unknown Parties
In cases where the responsible party is unidentified, motorists can file a report at participating petrol stations.
  • Lost and Found
Dubai Police makes it easy for residents to report lost items or retrieve found belongings.
  • Vehicle Repair Assistance
Drivers can access guidance for initiating repairs to ensure a hassle-free experience.
  • Police Eye Service
Citizens can report suspicious activities or concerns, enhancing the safety of their communities.
  • E-Crime Reporting
The service provides a streamlined way to report cybercrimes, addressing the increasing need for digital security.

Faster Service, Lower Costs

The ‘On-the-Go’ initiative has dramatically reduced service delivery time from 24 hours to just two minutes. This time-saving measure ensures minimal disruption to motorists’ daily routines. Additionally, the program has significantly cut service costs, lowering expenses from an average of Dh1,927 to approximately Dh420. Motorists could save up to Dh1,500 by utilizing this initiative.

How the Service Works

Motorists needing assistance can simply visit a participating petrol station and speak to trained staff members, who are equipped to handle service requests. With the necessary documents, such as a driving license, vehicle registration, and insurance details, the staff will file the required reports on behalf of the motorists, making the entire process quick and stress-free.

Enhancing Accessibility and Safety

Dubai Police’s collaboration with major fuel suppliers ensures these services are accessible to all residents. This initiative not only simplifies reporting procedures but also contributes to a safer community by encouraging swift action on minor incidents, lost items, and suspicious activities.

Dubai Police’s Vision for Innovation

Captain Majid bin Saeed Al Kaabi, head of the ‘On-the-Go’ team, praised the success of the program, highlighting how teamwork and innovation have led to measurable improvements in public services. By simplifying procedures and placing them at easily accessible locations, Dubai Police continues to set global benchmarks in public safety and efficiency.

A Model for Public Service Excellence

Dubai’s ‘On-the-Go’ initiative reflects the emirate’s commitment to improving public services through innovation and collaboration. It showcases how law enforcement can adapt to the needs of a growing, dynamic city, ensuring convenience for all.

Why This Initiative Matters

This initiative is a game-changer for Dubai motorists. By saving time and costs while enhancing convenience, it strengthens public trust in local law enforcement and reinforces Dubai’s position as a leader in innovative, resident-focused solutions.
