Massive Investment for Public-Private Partnerships

In a major move, Sheikh Hamdan has allocated Dh40 billion for the ‘Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership’ for the years 2024-2026. This significant investment emphasizes Dubai’s commitment to boosting collaboration between the public and private sectors for economic growth and development.

Addressing Housing Needs

The Crown Prince has also given the green light to the ‘Affordable Housing Policy,’ in line with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan. This policy aims to tackle housing needs across different income levels, fostering diverse and inclusive communities. Various government bodies, including Dubai Municipality and the Roads and Transport Authority, will work together to ensure its successful implementation.

Boosting Tech Start-Ups

Another exciting initiative is the ‘Dubai Sandbox’ project, designed to support 100 tech ventures initially. This project aims to speed up the growth of start-ups, especially in emerging sectors, by creating an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and facilitating access to funding. It aligns with Dubai’s ambitious goals to become a global innovation hub, as outlined in the D33 agenda.

Moving Forward with Progress and Innovation

These initiatives underscore Dubai’s unwavering commitment to progress and innovation. By investing in key sectors and fostering collaboration, the emirate continues to pave the way for a prosperous and sustainable future.
