Reinforcing the Dubai Creek pier
The project focuses on repairing and strengthening the supporting walls along the Deira side of Dubai Creek. This will help prevent flooding during bad weather, reducing the risk of damage to ships and other commercial activities.
Two-Phase Approach
The work will be done in two phases. The first phase involves restoring a 2.1-kilometer stretch of the Deira Pier over 14 months. This includes replacing damaged sections of the wall, making them deeper and taller to better protect against flooding.
