The Dubai Press Club, in partnership with Dubai Health, has launched the second phase of the Dubai Content Creators Program, this time with a clear focus on health and science communication. The initiative aims to equip content creators with the skills, knowledge, and practical tools to produce accurate and engaging health-related content, strengthening public awareness and supporting the UAE’s national priorities.
Building on the successful first edition (focused on economic storytelling), the program continues Dubai’s commitment to nurturing creative talent and media innovation. Simplify complex medical and scientific information for clear, accessible presentation across digital platforms.

Supporting Dubai’s Vision for Media Excellence
Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, emphasised the importance of the program in advancing a knowledge-based media environment.
“Dubai continues to invest in nurturing creative talent and placing media at the heart of its development strategies. This phase of the Dubai Content Creators Program reflects our commitment to professional media practices and responsible storytelling in health and science,” Al Marri said.
She noted that partnerships with healthcare organisations, such as Dubai Health, are key to developing content that is both credible and socially responsible, helping to shape a well-informed community.
Collaboration Between Health and Media Sectors
His Excellency Dr Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, welcomed the participants, highlighting the unique collaboration between the health and media sectors.
“This program equips content creators with the skills to present complex medical information credibly and meaningfully. By combining creativity with evidence-based knowledge, participants can help foster a more informed community,” Dr Sharif said.
He added that the program represents a step forward in health media, encouraging innovation while maintaining accuracy and trustworthiness.
Expert-Led Training for Health and Science Creators
The Dubai Content Creators Program brings together leading regional and global media organisations and training institutions to provide participants with hands-on experience. Partners include TikTok, YouTube, Elwarsha, Dubai Media Academy, MediaCast, Edraak Media Academy, Blinx, and Artificial Intelligence Journalism for Research and Forecasting, among others.
The program combines expertise from content creators, healthcare professionals, and media specialists to provide a practical learning experience. Participants receive training in:
- Simplifying and presenting complex medical information
- Storytelling techniques for health and science topics
- Visual content development, including photography and video
- Digital health campaigns and platform-specific strategies
- AI-powered content creation and innovative tools for engagement
- Short-form video production for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
The emphasis is on accuracy, clarity, and creativity, ensuring content is both engaging and informative. Through these workshops, participants learn to communicate responsibly while making science and health topics accessible to the public.

Enhancing Social Impact and Community Awareness
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, highlighted the importance of content creators in shaping public knowledge.
“Health and science demand precision and professionalism. This program provides advanced tools and insights that allow creators to produce high-quality content that informs and educates communities,” Al Mulla said. “We focus on empowering creators with knowledge and skills that strengthen their social impact.”
The initiative aims to foster a more informed society, encouraging creators to produce content that promotes healthier lifestyles and greater awareness of scientific developments.
Program Duration and Opportunities
Running until 4 November 2025, the second phase offers participants interactive workshops, practical training, and opportunities to explore emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. Both emerging content creators and healthcare professionals can benefit from the program, gaining insights into digital storytelling, responsible reporting, and innovative media tools.
Following the first edition (focused on economic reporting), this phase further positions Dubai as a specialized media training hub, blending creativity and credibility to meet evolving audience needs in the UAE.
