Diljit Dosanjh Defends His ‘Panjab’ Spelling, Shuts Down Trolls with Bold Reply

Diljit Dosanjh – the name that screams talent, swag, and a no-nonsense attitude. He’s got the moves, the voice, and the acting chops to keep us hooked. But with fame comes the drama, and is he dealing with some haters lately. What’s the fuss? A spelling choice. Diljit wrote “Panjab” instead of “Punjab,” and the internet decided to turn into detectives.

Diljit Dosanjh Claps Back At All The Trolls

Diljit, in all his rockstar glory, posted about his Chandigarh concert and used the spelling “Panjab.” Some social media watchdogs didn’t seem to like it and started speculating that the term was “too Pakistani.” They also noticed the absence of an Indian Tricolour emoji in his post.

But Diljit wasn’t about to let the trolls steal his spotlight. Taking to Twitter, he served them clapbacks. “PANJAB will always be PANJAB,” he wrote, explaining that the name refers to the “land of five rivers.” He even joked about their obsession with pushing conspiracies in a foreign language!

In another tweet, Diljit hilariously suggested that these trolls must’ve been assigned tasks to spin conspiracies around him. “How many times do I have to prove my love for India?” he asked, clearly done with the unnecessary drama. And if you thought he was losing sleep over this, think again. “I don’t bother about such things,” he assured his fans, adding that he had to shut down the false narratives before they gained traction.

Fans Have His Back, as Always

While some were busy dissecting his tweets, Diljit’s fans stood by him like an unshakable army. One fan urged him to ignore the negativity, but Diljit being Diljit, explained why he couldn’t stay silent: “False claims, if left unchecked, can be mistaken for truth.”

What’s Next for Diljit?

While the internet debates spellings and emojis, Diljit is out here living his best life. He’s wrapping up his Dil-Luminati India tour with shows in Mumbai on December 19 and Guwahati on December 29. On the big screen, he’s set to entertain us in No Entry 2 and Border 2. Talk about a packed schedule!
