The legal proceedings have led to a recent ruling by Justice C Hari Shankar on April 25th, which has instructed various prominent platforms such as YouTube, Google, Twitter and Reddit to take swift action in removing the viral videos that were leaked from the sets of ‘Jawan’. Additionally, the court has also directed internet service providers to block access to any websites that display or enable the download of copyrighted content from the film ‘Jawan’.
Shah Rukh Khan’s esteemed company has confirmed that two sneak peeks of ‘Jawan’ have unfortunately found their way onto social media platforms. One of the clips showcases the dynamic actor in a heated fight sequence, while the other features him alongside the stunning Nayanthara in a captivating dance performance. In light of this unfortunate turn of events, a portion of the suit filed against the unauthorized content states that such leaked footage is a direct infringement of copyright and intellectual property rights. This flagrant violation has inflicted harm and loss upon the film’s production and promotion. Moreover, the leaked videos have divulged key elements of the movie, including the actors’ looks and the music, which are usually unveiled at strategic junctures as part of the thoughtfully crafted marketing campaign for a movie.
