While we were out here manifesting a Kalki 2898 AD reunion between Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, looks like the universe had other plans. According to reports, she’s officially out of Spirit. But, she is hopping aboard with Allu Arjun in Atlee’s next mega-action saga.
Deepika x Allu Arjun x Atlee = PAN-India Explosion Incoming?
As reported by Peepingmoon.com, AA22 x A6, the action-packed beast of a movie that’s already buzzing louder among fans. Deepika is all set to star opposite the Pushpa sensation himself, Allu Arjun, and with Atlee directing, you just know this one’s going to break the box office.
Sources say Deepika and Atlee have been chatting it up for months, and now the deal’s finally locked. If you’re thinking this collab’s familiar, you’re right, they last set screens ablaze with Jawan and now they’re ready to do it all over again.
Rumour has it, she’s charging a jaw dropping amount. Add to that her signature screen presence and a look specially crafted for the high-octane storyline, and we’re talking next-level cinema.
Alongside Deepika, the film will also reportedly features Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor. It’s a full-blown diva fest, and we’re here for every second of it.
Is this the reason why Deepika backed out of Prabhas starrer spirit?
Reports claim Deepika made a graceful yet firm exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas’ upcoming project, and the reasons? Let’s just say it wasn’t a mutual breakup.
A source in the know informed Bollywood Hungama, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than 6 hours a day for Spirit. That’s not all, the actress, via her agency, also started to demand an amendment to the contract. Their point of contention was simple – if the shoot extends beyond 100 days, Deepika will have to be paid extra for every single day of shoot beyond the commitment on paper.”
Even after attempts to calm the storm, things just couldn’t be smoothed over. So Deepika bowed out, leaving the Spirit team to do some major reshuffling.
