Deepika Padukone Charges this whopping amount for Prabhas starrer Spirit?
According to reports in India Today Deepika is allegedly charging a mind-blowing ?20 crore for her role in Spirit, directed by the intense and edgy Sandeep Reddy Vanga. That’s reportedly more than what hubby Ranveer Singh takes home for a film.
Reports surfaced in Pinkvilla that initially, Deepika had gracefully declined the film thanks to timing clashes with her pregnancy calendar. But when destiny wants Deepika, schedules get shifted! Director Sandeep Vanga, not ready to let go of his dream casting, came back with a fresh shoot plan – and voilà, Deepika said YES.
This will be Deepika’s grand comeback after baby Dua’s arrival and what better way to re-enter than opposite Prabhas in an action-packed, emotionally intense drama? After Kalki 2898 AD, the two are not done setting screens on fire together.
There’s more spice! If the industry chatter in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are being eyed to play the villainous power couple in Spirit. Just imagine – Deepika, Prabhas, and Saifeena in one frame.
