With school out and temperatures rising, Dubai Municipality has officially launched the fifth edition of its Children’s City Summer Camp, a well-rounded programme for kids aged 7 to 12 running from July 14 to August 7.
Themed “Learn, Play, and Build Our Community,” this year’s camp combines entertainment and education to help children stay engaged, build life skills, and develop values that align with Dubai’s future vision.
A Fresh Take on Summer Learning for Kids in Dubai
The camp offers a thoughtfully designed curriculum split into two cycles—Cycle One from July 14–24 and Cycle Two from July 28–August 7. Sessions take place Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, ensuring young participants enjoy their summer mornings in a safe, enriching environment.
From science and art to sports and trips, the camp sparks mental and social growth in kids.
Children learn through play—exploring, imagining, and bonding while tackling real-world topics like sustainability, health, and teamwork.
Designed to Build Character, Creativity and Community
Dubai Municipality’s Children’s City Summer Camp isn’t just about keeping kids busy—it’s about building values that last. The programme includes:
- Health and nutrition awareness sessions
- Environmental education and sustainability workshops
- Group-based activities that foster collaboration
- Craft and innovation labs to spark imagination
- Visits to educational and cultural hotspots in Dubai
By combining fun with purpose, the camp empowers children to develop skills like empathy, responsibility, critical thinking, and self-expression.
Supporting Dubai Social Agenda 33
This initiative is part of the broader vision outlined in Dubai Social Agenda 33, which focuses on creating a knowledge-based, inclusive society where every child has the opportunity to flourish.
The camp acts as a platform to nurture future-ready individuals who understand the importance of giving back to their communities while becoming confident, self-aware citizens.
By engaging with practical topics and interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds, children are introduced early to the values that shape the emirate’s long-term goals for development and wellbeing.
Structured for Flexibility and Quality
To ensure every child receives individual attention, the camp caps participation at around 100 children per cycle. This small-group format allows for deeper engagement and a better learning experience while keeping safety and supervision top priorities.
Parents can enrol their children in either one or both cycles, depending on their availability and interest.
Making Summer in Dubai Count
With so many children off school during the summer break, Dubai Municipality’s Children’s City Summer Camp gives families a constructive and value-driven alternative to idle routines or screen-heavy days.
By giving young residents a chance to explore Dubai in a structured, guided format—while also learning soft skills they’ll carry for life—the camp plays a vital role in making summer meaningful, memorable, and educational.
A Model for Community-Based Child Development
Dubai continues to set benchmarks when it comes to youth engagement, and the Children’s City Summer Camp exemplifies this vision. It’s not just an annual event—it’s a commitment to shaping confident, thoughtful, and empowered individuals who will grow into tomorrow’s changemakers.
Children’s City Camp 2025 celebrates every passion—from science to friendship—in Dubai’s vibrant summer lineup.
